Kevin Goodwin is a Registered Independent Woolsafe and IFCII (Institute of Floor Covering Inspectors) Inspector based in the London & Surrey area.

Registered Inspectors investigate flooring complaints on-site on behalf of suppliers, cleaners or owners, arrange tests where required, and provide comprehensive reports.

He has extensive knowledge and experience in investigating the causes for carpet and flooring complaints based on his involvement with the carpet, rug and hard floor industry over many years.

Kevin has been working in the floor cleaning and restoration industry since 1991 and is a qualified WoolSafe certified operator, WoolSafe a Senior member of the NCCA (National Carpet Cleaners Association) NCCA and the IFCII (Institute of Floor Covering Inspectors) IFCII

Inspections are independent to all parties (manufacturer, retailer, fitter, cleaner, customer), regardless of who is paying for the service. Independent Carpet Independent registered inspectors have been trained have been trained and examined in the identification of carpet and flooring faults by in the identification of carpet faults.

Independent Inspection Fees

Consultation and Advice: 75.00 per hour
Domestic Inspection: 220.00
Commercial Inspection 275.00
Mileage charge: 1 pound per mile

All prices are plus vat.

An inspection includes a personal visit to the site, close examination, digital photography, sample collection (if feasible) report preparation and submission.

Laboratory testing and analysis carries additional costs.
